A restored 1939 Steinway P, a 45" Studio Upright. Serial number: P 294648. Varying pianos have varying characters and purposes. This is not a piano to have exposed to the hundreds of children within an elementary school. An instrument, historical artifact, a beautiful piece of furniture, a voice from the beyond. Most importantly: An instrument to bestow the gift of music to your kin or loved ones. Original Ivories and Sharps. 86 years of playing naturally exposed the wood of the sharp keys. I have opted not to reblacken the sharps or replace the ivories.

After Re-stringing: $6000
